He’s not interested in policy. He’s a politician not interested in policy. He has no vision for the country at all. It’s all about becoming Prime Minister, winning, becoming, not being Prime Minister.
Gordon Brown obviously had many flaws but he did have a great sort of thing about what he wanted to do. Tony Blair the same, maybe Cameron to some extent, Major. Most other Prime Ministers do have this, whether you agree with it or not, something that they really want to do with the country.
He doesn’t give a toss. He just wants to be Prime Minister and have people put up hideous wallpaper at someone else’s expense.
